Privacy policy
What Orçadim keeps about you, what it is used for, who it is shared with and how to ask for it to be deleted.
Orçadim is a Brazilian product, so Brazil's data protection law, the LGPD, applies.
Who is responsible for your data
Júlio Machado, who runs Orçadim, is the controller. In the LGPD, the controller is whoever decides what happens to the data. Send any privacy request to jsmacbusiness@gmail.com.
What we collect
- If you leave your details on the site: name, email and WhatsApp number, the boxes you ticked (with date and time), and the link or ad that brought you.
- If you use the app: the shop details printed on every paper (name, phone, address and logo), the access code, and the estimates and work orders your team enters.
- If you subscribe: your plan and payment status. Card and Pix details stay with Mercado Pago, and we never see them.
- Usage tracking, once it is switched on and only if you agree: pages opened, buttons tapped and where you came from. Without your consent we count the visit without knowing who you are.
- Like any website, the hosting logs the IP address and browser of each visitor. The app also uses the IP to block anyone trying to guess a shop's code.
Your customers' data
The names, phone numbers and cars of the customers you enter in the app belong to your shop. We store them only so the app works and use them for nothing else, email and ads included.
What we use it for
We use data to run the app (storing estimates and work orders, building the PDF, billing your plan) because that is the service you signed up for. Anything else needs a box you tick, one per use:
- Sending tips and offers by email, if you tick the email box.
- Sending Orçadim messages on WhatsApp, if you tick the WhatsApp box.
- Showing you Orçadim ads on Instagram, Facebook and Google, if you tick the ads box. Before it leaves our side, your email or phone number is turned into a scrambled code (a SHA-256 hash), and only that code goes to Meta and Google.
- Measuring which pages and ads bring in subscribers, if you accept it in the site notice.
Every box starts unticked, and the form goes through even if you tick none.
Who we share it with
- VercelHosts the site and the app.
- NeonHolds the database: accounts, shops, estimates and work orders.
- Mercado PagoBills the subscription.
- BrevoSends the emails, only to people who ticked email.
- PostHogMeasures usage, only for people who accepted it.
- Meta and GoogleGet the scrambled code, only for people who ticked ads.
We don't sell anyone's data. Some of these companies store data on servers outside Brazil.
How long we keep it
- Contact details of people who never subscribed: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Usage records: 13 months. After that they are rolled into totals that identify no one, or deleted.
- Account, shop, estimates and work orders: as long as the account exists. If you cancel, ask and we delete them.
- The record of each consent (what you ticked, when and where): as long as the data exists plus 5 years, as proof that you agreed.
Your rights
Under the LGPD (article 18) you can:
- find out whether we hold data about you and get a copy;
- correct anything wrong or out of date;
- have data that is unnecessary, excessive or handled against the law anonymized, blocked or deleted;
- take your data to another service;
- delete what you gave us based on your consent;
- find out who we share your data with;
- find out what happens if you don't consent;
- withdraw your consent at any time.
How to ask
Email jsmacbusiness@gmail.com from the address you used with us and say what you need. We reply within 15 days. If you think we didn't sort it out, you can complain to Brazil's data protection authority, the ANPD, at gov.br/anpd.
How to opt out
Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email, reply SAIR ("leave" in Portuguese) to the email or on WhatsApp, or go to the Unsubscribe page. Within 24 hours we take you off email, WhatsApp and the ad lists. Your subscription and the app stay as they are.
Changes to this page
When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change touches something you agreed to, we ask for your consent again.
